Abuja Graduate School (AGS) was established in 2008, in line with Nigeria’s declared intent and commitment to become a global player, a member of the United Nations Security Council, and one of the 20 most developed economies of the world by the year 2020. Recognizing the serious gap in knowledge and skills of our people, it became obvious that this vision cannot be achieved 

without an urgent commitment to training and capacity building of the workforce who will be driving the envisaged emergent world power. Therefore, AGS has accepted the challenge to champion the development and provision of internationally recognized accredited programmes that will catalyze the achievement of the stated national development objectives.

AGS is an Accredited Tuition Centre for a few professional examinations and certifications, such as the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
We also offer tuition for the Accounting Technicians Scheme (ATS) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).We also facilitate students who wish to obtain their degree On-line or by Distance Learning.

Abuja Graduate School (AGS) was established in 2008, and registered with the Centre for Management Development (CMD), to help address the serious gap in training and knowledge of middle to senior level staff in the private and public sectors of the Nigerian economy. In the past 13 years of our establishment, we have delivered customized training programmes judged to be effective and successful by training participants and their sponsoring organizations. It is our practice to design both short and long-term programs to suit an organization’s specific needs.

Objectives

Short Term

To establish a prosperous business school which we have done successfully.

Medium Term

Establishing the first Industrial, technology-driven polytechnic in Nigeria We have secured two of the three requirements needed to establish the Industrial Polytechnic i.e Needs Assessment Survey and Academic Master Plan We are yet to obtain the third requirement which is the Physical Master Plan that requires 10 hectares of land within the Federal Capital Territory.

Long Term

This is to establish the first Industrial University in Nigeria, where each student must innovate to graduate.
